International Women’s Day Zine Making Workshop, Nottingham Women’s Centre

From: 8th March 2021 5:00 pm

To: 8th March 2021 6:30 pm

Nottingham Women's Centre

A womens only event to communicate what intersectional feminism means to you through art this International Women’s Day!

We have been through some tough times, finding our voices, stance and identity but we still have much to celebrate.

This interactive Zine Workshop is hosted by professional artist, Diana Ali, she’s a beloved trustee of ours who was also a mentor on the BBC’s Big Painting Challenge. Diana is super passionate about helping people find their inner creative powers and she’ll be guiding you throughout this workshop on how to find your voice and communicate what intersectional feminism means to you and others, through collaging and paper craft.

What do I need?

The only materials you’ll need are those you already have lying around your house: Scissors, glue and paper scraps are necessary. Envelopes, magazines, anything colourful and any other art materials you have and want to use are welcome extras!

This is a women’s only event, and can only be attended by women and self identifying women.
