About

Where should dance be performed? In a studio, a theatre? Why not in remote places, seldom seen. The focus of dance is on the movement, but environment and costume change our perception of dance, and also influences the dancer’s improvisation. David started to invite dancers to interesting locations to learn how to photograph dance, and forgot to stop. This provided a rich variety of photoshoots, working with both experienced dancers, and those at the beginning of their career.

David is a freelance photographer of dance, performance art and art documentation.
