About

Now in its ninth year the International Print Exchange is back and it’s anticipated that more than 200 mini-prints will feature by printmakers from all over the world.

The exchange was first initiated by Green Door Printmaking Studio, an environmentally sound open access artists’ studio, following their participation in the Oregon Ink Spot. They were so intrigued by the time honoured tradition of exchanging prints between studios that they decided to see if they could organise something similar from their own studio.

The IPE is an un-juried print exchange with all work received being featured in the exhibition. It has no assigned theme and is open to all printmakers throughout the world and celebrates the world of fine art printmaking.

To coincide with each exchange Green Door produce a publication featuring all prints that take part in the IPE. These books are available to view and purchase via their website http://www.internationalprintexchange.org

Come along and celebrate the launch of IPE 2017 at the preview on Fri 6th October (5pm – 8pm).

This year’s celebration of printmaking will have a preview evening in the Banks Mill Studios foyer from 5pm – 8pm, Friday 6 October and will be on show until 4 November 2017.
