Leicester Print Workshop’s professional development series continues with an evening with CVAN EM’s Director Elizabeth Hawley-Lingham.

Elizabeth will introduce you to the Contemporary Visual Arts Network East Midlands, set up to support the region’s visual arts community. Drawing on her experience of working in public galleries, arts funding, and artist support, she will lead an interactive session exploring notions of success, how to navigate the art world, building networks and relationships, and getting what you need to develop as an artist.

With particular reference to films and publications produced as part of CVAN EM’s recent Document projectwhich captured the experiences of six artists living and working in the East Midlands, she will invite you to consider your own place in the visual arts ecology, share your experiences, identify challenges you may face whilst pursuing your practice, and reflect on your aspirations.
