What is important to you as an artist in recording live-ness?
How do we preserve our existence as artists?
What do we do with the archive once produced?
Rachel Parry of GuerillartLab invites artists interested in archiving transient time-based art practices (Live/Performance/visual/sound/stage/writers/photographers) to explore what is important to them in recording and archiving live-ness. Acts of comradely, empowering our artists voices, taking over space/s and finding ways to articulate what is important to us as art practitioners.
A workshop that will include some gently led performance art devising and movement, image making, cut up techniques and exploring archiving processes. Resulting in a physical LIVENESS Zine that will live in the Zine library, with openness to how we share with wider audiences.
Bring any images or words you want to experiment with, a piece of art you wish to be preserved, or something you want to mark witness to.
Enquiries, interest and bookings can be registered at guerillartlab@gmail.com
£10 Cash on day for zine/workshop and printed copy of final risograph zine.
