The Street Art Festival at Surface Gallery celebrates and supports Nottingham’s thriving alternative art scene by showcasing some of today’s best local, national, and international street art. Graffiti / Alternative/ Illustration / Paste‐Up / Graphics / Yarn Bombing / Sticker Tagging / Print / Lightbombing etc. are accepted.
Up to six pieces can be submitted per person and all work will be hung salon style, packed from floor to ceiling. All submissions will be displayed as long as you can get them through the door.
Deadline for Submissions: Saturday 17th June 17:00
Submissions can be delivered to the gallery on the delivery dates with a completed application form and small entry fee. Application packs can be downloaded from www.surfacegallery.org/opportunities/ or paper copies can be picked up from the gallery during opening hours.

Solo exhibition in Surface Gallery’s alternative artspace: Le Loovre
Special Prize from Hung Up – to be announced

Prizes will be awarded at the launch party. The judges will be Geeta Pendse, BBC East Midlands Presenter, The Finsbury Park Deltics, winner of last year’s Street Art Festival, and special guest to be announced. Rob Rennie of Hung Up, Nottingham’s only dedicated street art gallery, will award the Hung Up Prize

With DJ sets from Plates Records, live painting, and some nicely spiced cooking from Uncle Wayne’s Jerk Station
