About

Get your saucepans and other kitchen utensils ready!

Join the Politicised Practice Research Group for a percussion workshop and a group discussion about citizenship and rhythm!

This workshop led by performance-poet and jazz musician David Stickman Higgins is for complete beginners as well as practising musicians and the focus will be on syncopated rhythms. The workshop will be followed by a provocation from sound-artist and writer Salomé Voegelin, highlighting some potential links between rhythm and politics and a group discussion.

This event is part of Arts Week, an exciting and diverse programme of online events from Loughborough University’s creative community. View the full programme of events at https://www.lboro.ac.uk/arts/whats-on/
