An intimate tour for existing and new Friends of Primary with an opportunity to get to know the people and the work that make up this unique creative community in Nottingham.
The Weave Studio was set up at Primary in 2016 to accommodate a group of dedicated textile designers and a number of their mechanical looms. Members of the Weave Studio use their space within the building to generate very different works; Angharad, Liné and Momoka are the core collective and they often work alongside other makers, artists, and the public through research and collaborative projects and workshops.
The Weave Studio will be opening their doors for our second We Are Primary event to showcase recent works combined with a tour of the studio and the dye garden.
