Ticketing Manager

We’re seeking to appoint an experienced and meticulous Ticketing Manager to help oversee the management and operation of the organisation’s ticketing function.

You should be accomplished in managing multiple projects, proficient in analysing box office and audience data and able to work to tight deadlines. You’ll take responsibility for providing excellent customer service to all MIF audiences, working closely with insights, evaluation and marketing staff to contribute to ongoing customer understanding and future customer relationship marketing strategies.

The postholder will oversee the management and operation of the organisation’s ticketing function, with an emphasis on strategic planning and application and to ensure a consistent and excellent level of customer service.

Responsibilities

  • To lead on implementing the ticketing operations for the Festival and The Factory from inception to delivery, including (but not limited to) developing the CRM/box office system, working with internal and external key stakeholders to ensure the best possible outcome, and overseeing enhanced functionality/new technologies as needed
  • To take responsibility for excellent customer service to all MIF audiences by providing an exceptional and efficient service to each customer
  • To contribute to the achievement of MIF’s annual business plan and KPI’s, in particular maximising sales revenues through the efficient and effective sale of tickets, including platform optimisation and holds management and ensuring that all ticketing staff understand the business goals and targets
  • To be responsible for managing all administrative ticketing processes to ensure events are put on sale in a timely and accurate manner – working closely with related internal stakeholders (e.g. IT/Systems Management, Development and Producing)
  • To work closely with internal departments and oversee all ticketing financial set-up including campaigns, funds, fees, payment methods, appeals and advance reporting
  • To work closely with insights, evaluation and marketing staff to create robust reporting systems that are accurate and insightful and contribute to ongoing customer understanding and future customer relationship marketing strategies
  • To be responsible for financial reconciliation of all MIF ticketed events and provide information and reports to the Finance Department as required
  • To maintain an ongoing awareness of emerging box office and related technologies and processes, proactively feeding these back in to the organisation at a strategic level
