The University of Birmingham is inviting expressions of interest from artists to undertake a residency on campus during the academic year 2018/19, potentially culminating in an exhibition or event produced in partnership with the University Curator, which communicates the artist’s work to a wide audience.
We are looking for artists that are interested in exploring and responding to academic research, and whose own practice is research-based.
We also have superb cultural assets at the University of Birmingham and we hope that successful applicants will explore as many of them as possible for inspiration.
