Artist Residency

We are inviting proposals from artists living and working in the UK to create new contemporary artwork over a three-month period in response to the collections and spaces of the Leicester Arts & Museums Service (LAMS). This is all part of our new project, the COLMT bi-annual residency, (Contemporary Encounters at Leicester Museums). The approach can be as alternative, innovative or as conceptual as desired. Artists are free to work in any medium – such as painting, sculpture, drawing, print, photography, video or performance – working either individually or collaboratively.

A total fixed fee of £1,500 is made available in three stages (£500 per month). This includes transport costs and materials. The deadline for applications is Wednesday 31 January 2018 -12 noon. To apply visit the website.
