Artistic Director, Deep Roots Tall Trees

Deep Roots Tall Trees (DRTT) is seeking to recruit an Artistic Director and welcomes applications from suitably qualified individuals interested in working with one of the most innovative arts charities in Northamptonshire. The Artistic Director will be responsible for all aspects of leading the organisation: including implementing the future vision, artistic programme, finance, fund raising, working with and responsibility for other staff, volunteers, marketing and technical, and to report to the Board.

We are looking for someone with a strong music background who has the ability to create an exciting vision for the organisation beyond our current project. Also required are excellent interpersonal skills, IT proficiency and good administrative abilities.

The successful candidate will be offered as a freelance contract, fixed term up to December 2019 (with possibility of extension dependant on funding) with an annual fee of £23,500. We anticipate that the role will take 10 days per month. The contract will be subject to a probationary period of 3 months.
