Assistant Curator

Nottingham Contemporary, one of the UK’s leading and largest centres for contemporary art, is seeking an Assistant Curator to support the delivery of a dynamic programme of exhibitions, spanning new commissions, solo shows and thematic exhibitions.

As Assistant Curator, you will work closely with the Chief Curator and Director to support the research, planning and delivery of the exhibitions programme, performances, cross-departmental collaborations and related publications. The post holder will be a core member of the curatorial team, working with artist, lenders, designers and other partners, as well as other departments of the organisation, to ensure efficient delivery and communication. The post holder will also have opportunities to undertake research and contribute ideas to the programme.

With a flexible, self-motivated approach to working, your excellent relationship management skills will mean you are a natural collaborator with a flair for written and verbal communication.
