We are looking to appoint an Assistant Curator to help take care of the remarkable collections of Fine Art at the Whitworth. You will be assisting the Senior Fine Art Curators to care for and share our collections that have been part of the Whitworth’s unique identity since its very earliest years. Now with an award winning new building, with exemplary exhibition spaces, study spaces and collection stores, there could not be a better time to join.
We are looking for a dynamic, open minded, passionate curator who loves fine art and can demonstrate a thorough grasp of art history, current display and exhibition making trends and is committed to sharing their specialist knowledge with the widest range of people – from academics to toddlers and their parents.
