Assistant Producer (Creative Media)

Phoenix Leicester is looking for an Assistant Producer to join our team. The Assistant Producer is a new role responsible for working with artists and filmmakers to produce exhibitions, commissions and events – supporting the development of new talent at Phoenix across a range of creative media.

This is an exciting time to join Phoenix as we work towards Phoenix 2020, a major extension and refurbishment programme which aims to add two additional cinema screens and a larger, more prominent gallery space.

A key responsibility of the role will be contributing to the curation and delivery of exhibitions and events in our art programme, which will include working with national and international artists to support the production of their work.

Phoenix also provides and responds to opportunities to develop artists and filmmakers by providing exhibition opportunities, use of facilities, guidance, workshops and training. The role will coordinate and support the delivery of these activities and help shape future Phoenix talent development initiatives.
