The Barber has a big reputation as one of the UK’s leading small art galleries – and has an award-winning marketing and communications team promoting its collection and critically-acclaimed exhibitions. We’re looking to recruit a talented and enthusiastic communications and marketing assistant, passionate about the arts and with some experience in marketing, PR or communications as well as demonstrable interest and knowledge of art and heritage, who can us spread the word about the Barber to all our audiences and stakeholders across all platforms. You’ll be assisting in the planning, organisation, delivery and evaluation of high-quality campaigns, working across digital and print media, collaborating with the wider team to help realise the Barber’s ambitions and distinctive Audience Development Plan. Well-organised and with excellent attention to accuracy and detail, you’ll be adept at creating content that’s lively and compelling – and communicating it effectively across a variety of platforms.
