Development Executive (Faculty of Arts)

The University of Warwick is one of the most successful young universities in the UK. With a dynamic and forward-thinking culture, and a reputation for combining innovation with the relentless pursuit of excellence, it is firmly established within the top ten of all UK university rankings and currently 51st in the world. Its Development Office is on a similar trajectory. With the appointment of Matt Ferguson as its Director of Development at the start of 2018, the team has been challenged to raise the funds needed to take the University and its students to the next level.

To help meet this challenge, the University is looking to recruit a Development Executive to raise major philanthropic gifts, in particular to support the expansion of the University’s Arts programmes including Warwick Arts Centre at the Faculty of Arts, one of the world’s top 50 Arts and Humanities faculties. This post will have responsibility for identifying, cultivating and asking donors for financial support.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for the post holder to build on their fundraising or sales experience within a dynamic and inspiring institution. Experience of working with high net worth individuals, senior management or key stakeholders will be required, as well as, the ability to form and maintain relationships with potential donors.
