Digital Assistant

You will support audience development through the delivery of digital projects, both virtual and within Leicester Museums, generating high quality content which attracts a wide audience. You will also be regularly creating interesting social media posts and interacting with the public through social media platforms.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of service websites and social media accounts, providing content for the development of service websites, whilst contributing to and developing activities / projects that deliver on reaching diverse audiences.

What you will need

You must have experience of digital projects delivery, including creating social media posts and experience of working with partners including community and voluntary organisations

You will have an ability to create and write web-based content including digital media, with knowledge of current IT applications relevant to the creation of digital content, e.g. content management systems, gallery display software.

Additional information

This is a fixed term opportunity until 30th March 2022.

You will work 18.5 hours per week – the working pattern can be discussed at interview.
