Digital Collections Coordinator

This is an exciting opportunity to lead on the digital development of an archive, with the aim of extending its reach. This is a fixed term, part time post to cover the duration of the migration project which we would expect to be around three months. For the right candidate there can be some flexibility around how this time is structured as long as the project is completed by the end of the year. Some training may be provided from CALM depending on the experience of the candidate. Some of this project may be able to be completed remotely if preferred, though some site visits will be needed to ascertain the context and the requirements from the digital collection.

Remuneration will be £2800 and phased throughout the project on review points with the final installation on completion.

Interviews will be held in early September – we will be aiming to conduct these face to face with social distancing measures. If there are any concerns about this, do get in touch as there is potential for flexibility. We aim to recruit quickly due to the time limited nature of the funding with a view to starting WB 21st Sept (negotiable).

To apply, please submit a covering letter (1 page) and a CV (2 pages maximum) by Friday 4th September. For questions or informal discussion on the role, contact Letty Newton, Chair of Trustees.
