Digital Producer

Nottingham Playhouse, one of the UK’s leading producing theatres, is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and skilled creative producer who is a digital all-rounder with hands-on production skills, to create high-quality digital content, products and experiences.

As a Digital Producer, you’ll work within the Artistic department and support the Marketing and Participation Teams in creating high-quality digital content, products and experiences for a range of audience groups.

You will have experience in film and audio production and bring innovative ideas and technical skills to the team.  From recording and editing films and podcasts for the web and social media to creating content for digital learning products and immersive onsite digital experiences, there will be many opportunities to contribute your expertise to help deliver this important area of Nottingham Playhouse’s work.

You will be a confident self-shooting Director/Producer with experience of making imaginative short-form video and audio content in a variety of formats including mini-docs and dramas, interviews, features, and promos. You will also have experience of planning and producing larger scale film shoots on-location and, whilst this is a smaller element of the role, managing third party production companies through the process from pre-production to final delivery.

With strong editorial and writing skills you will be able to adapt your language style and tone for different audiences, including young people, those with disabilities and children. A good understanding of social media channels and how to engage audiences through them is also important to us.
