Director

Due to the planned retirement of our current Chief Executive in April 2021, West Yorkshire Print Workshop (WYPW) are looking for their next Director.

An Arts Council England NPO and based in Mirfield near Huddersfield, 2019 saw WYPW celebrate 35 years as a visual arts organisation.  Our open access print studio facilities, 11 artists studios and 2 gallery spaces – one in Mirfield and one in Huddersfield (part of the Temporary/Contemporary project with Kirklees Council and Huddersfield University) – provide education and support in printmaking, realising personal and creative potential for all in an inclusive visual arts community.

Despite the current pandemic, it is an exciting time to be joining WYPW as it moves to the next stage of its development.  The successful applicant will lead on the strategic development and management of West Yorkshire Print Workshop, working with a dynamic and vibrant staff team and supportive Board.

So, if you have a passion for the visual arts and are an enthusiastic, inspirational and experienced arts professional, then we would love to hear from you.

We welcome applications from everyone and particularly encourage applicants who are usually under-represented in the cultural sector including disabled people and those from Black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.
