Fermynwoods is now adverting for the exciting role of a new Director to lead the organisation through its twentieth year and beyond. This includes the delivery of The Forest is the Museum and The Outdoor Institute of Art, an exciting 2 year artistic and educational programme, in partnership with the Forestry Commission.

Freelance Terms:
A Two Year Fixed Term contact, to be renewed on a biannual basis – subject to funding

Fees:
£25,200 per anum (£2,100 per month, which equates to £36,000 pro rata, 0.7 FTE/3.5 days a week)
Normal office hours are 10am – 6pm. Some out of hours work will be expected during evenings and weekends, to attend meetings and deliver events

Responsible for:
All freelance staff, including Education Officer, SGL Coordinator and CE Academy Coordinators

Office Location:
Thrapston House, Huntingdon Rd, Thrapston, Northamptonshire, NN14 4NF
The appointed person will be expected to work on site and at Sudborough Green Lodge in Fermyn Woods, as well as other sites across Northamptonshire, although some working from home will be possible.

Start Date:
1st December 2017 or to be negotiated (3 month probationary period)
