Director of Art Out Loud

Art Out Loud has established itself as a highly respected festival of Arts based talks and workshops, which take place annually in September in the garden at Chatsworth – this year the festival runs from 21st to 23rd September 2018.After 4 successful years the current Director is retiring and we are looking for a dynamic new Director to take the festival forward from 2019 onwards, continuing to build its influence in the art world and its audience reach.

We are looking for an individual with an established track record in organising this type of event, strong leadership skills, an established network of contacts in the worlds of Art and Literature, and a vision to work with partners and stakeholders to strengthen the festival as an integral part of Chatsworth’s arts programme.

Your hours of work and location will be entirely flexible and part-time, with more time required at Chatsworth in the run up to the Festival; we estimate an average of 1 day will be required at Chatsworth in the shoulder months, increasing near to the event and culminating in two weeks on site during September.
