Festival Assistants

The countdown to The Spark Festival 2018 has begun which means we are looking for passionate and dedicated individuals to join our friendly team to help us deliver our fantastic program of events, workshops and performances for children and families around Leicester city.

The Spark Festival is the largest children’s arts festival in England & Wales, taking place every May in Leicester. The  festival presents the very best theatre, dance, music, visual arts and digital media events for young people aged 0 – 13 years.

Our Festival volunteers are the main point of contact to the public. They welcome visitors in our festival venues,  promote other Spark events across the city, ensure the efficient operation of performances and participatory events and support visiting companies during the “At Your School” week.

We are looking for volunteers to assist the bank holiday weekend of 26th-28th May.

We also look for support around March/April to help with marketing the festival.
Volunteers need to be over 18, and may be required to have a DBS check.
