York Mediale is a new international media arts festival, taking place 27th September to 6th October 2018. An ambitious 10-day celebration of cutting-edge media arts, it will hold year-round development activity with the best emerging talent across international networks.
We need an exceptional business leader to help run the festival and ensure we deliver our plans.
You will need to be able to communicate the Creative Director’s vision for an exciting and diverse media arts festival to a national and international audience, including local residents, stakeholders and potential investors.
Your senior management experience will mean you have a good working knowledge of budget management, stakeholder engagement and/or dealing with third party agencies or contractors. You will ensure our finances are managed efficiently, effectively and meet regulations through the implementation of robust financial procedures and policies.
You will have excellent communication skills, be able to influence others at a senior level, be a confident public speaker and be able to make things happen.
