CALL FOR ENTRIES

Film Free and Easy – Casts The Net for their next event on Friday 23 November 2018 at Primary, in Nottingham.

This is an opportunity to bring along and show whatever you want. Film Free and Easy screens everything from old and new films and videos, slideshows, installations, computer games and we love performances and any other odd things you might want to bring along and show us. All formats are welcome. You are part of the event, so submit your work and help us set up everything for the evening.

Film Free and Easy happens three or four times a year. It is an event devised by artists to explore new ways of showing moving-image. We have screened over 250 works (films performances, slide shows installations) in the last 3 years. Every Film Free and Easy night is a unique mixture of screenings, performances and installations, shared by an audience who enjoy the unexpected and the surprise of discovery.

Email us at filmfreeandeasy@gmail.com, with the title, description, running time and details of how the work is to be shown, including any equipment needed. We can provide some equipment but you can help by bringing your own along to show your work. Put Casts the Net in the email subject.
