Freelance Business Tutor

Clay College Stoke has an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and committed Business Tutor to teach our 13 full-time ceramics students.

We are an independent college offering an intensive, skills-based ceramics course taught by potters who make a living through their craft, something unique in the UK.

The successful candidate will plan and deliver a series of modules, forming a comprehensive and inspiring programme focusing on business, selling, publicity, marketing and fundraising, and will support the students to develop the skills and knowledge required to plan and develop their own businesses after graduation.

Experience of an appropriate vocational industry setting or background is essential, ideally related to the ceramics, crafts or arts sector. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and organisational skills and will work effectively as part of the small team at Clay College.
