Freelance Programme coordinator

Stoke on Trent and Staffordshire Cultural Education Partnership have developed a partnership programme, funded and supported by Stoke on Trent Opportunities Area and Arts Connect West Midlands to work with 8 schools in Stoke on Trent to deliver an artist in residence programme, delivering wrap around creative workshops in schools and community settings with the aim of reducing persistent absence and providing more opportunities for children and young people to engage with learning through arts and cultural activity.

We are looking for a freelance programme coordinator to support the delivery of the programme for an average of 1.5 days per week over a minimum of 12 months.

Key responsibility areas:

  • Coordinate the delivery of artist workshops in 8 school and community settings across Stoke on Trent
  • Collect evaluation data as required
  • Work in partnership with the schools and artists to target young people at risk of exclusion
  • Support the delivery of workshops with the artist where necessary
