Kettering Borough Council has an exciting vacancy for a Gallery Officer at the award winning Kettering Museum & Art Gallery. The post is based at the Alfred East Art Gallery but the successful candidate will also be required work at the Manor House Museum.
The Gallery Officer will support the Cultural and Heritage Services Manager with the day-to-day running of the Alfred East Art Gallery and undertake a variety of exhibition, events and gallery duties.
You will have a least one years’ gallery experience which includes working with artists, delivering exhibitions, events and researching art collections. You will need to demonstrate a passion for art, possess excellent customer service skills and be a strong team player.
You must be willing to work alternate Saturdays in addition to evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays and additional hours as required.
