We are looking for a Guest Curator to collaborate with us on a new digital interview series. We hope to offer the guest curator the opportunity to develop their skills working with visual artists and their curatorial interests. The interview series, ‘A conversation with:’, is a chance to bring together, document, and showcase the practices of six contemporary visual artists linked to the East Midlands.
The ‘A conversation with:’ activity is part of a larger Arts Council funded research project to deliver connected activities supporting emerging creatives and the recovery of the visual arts post COVID-19, in the nationally affected lockdown area of Leicester/shire. As such, we are particularly keen to hear from applicants with a link to Leicester/shire (for example, those who live, work, or study in the region.
We think this could be a great opportunity for anyone seeking to gain experience in the arts. The curatorial role could be well suited to a current student, recent graduate, or anyone with an interest in supporting emerging visual creatives in the East Midlands.
