Nottingham Contemporary, one of the UK’s leading centres for contemporary art, is seeking a new Head of Audiences & Partnerships to promote its organisational vision and artistic and educational programmes to broad and diverse audiences – regionally, nationally and internationally.
With a broad remit, which includes strategic planning to communicate Nottingham Contemporary’s artistic and educational programmes, as well as commercial activities, across all platforms – print, press, digital and social media – you will build and diversify audiences, and maximise income-generation from the Shop, Café, events and the hire of our spaces.
Managing a small team, you will oversee all communications and PR activities, lead on media relations and develop key local and regional partnerships with stakeholders, funding bodies, and other cultural attractions in support of the wider marketing of the region.
With your significant experience of championing and embedding a focus on audiences in organisations, and your creative approach to marketing and digital content production, you will relish the opportunity to lead the redesign of Nottingham Contemporary’s website and identity.
Focused, results-driven and enthusiastic, your experience of managing complex projects and partnerships, coupled with your flexible approach to working, will mean you are ideally placed to thrive in this fast-paced and creative environment.
