Head of Development

Chatsworth is one of Britain’s leading heritage attractions and has an ambitious programme of conservation, art exhibitions and educational activity.

This role is a great opportunity for a fundraising professional with a proven track record of successful sponsorship generation to be involved at an exciting time, as Chatsworth continues along its programme of innovation and improvements.

You will manage a small team, lead and co-ordinate all fundraising activities, and develop strategies to maximise income from all potential sources, in particular from corporate sponsorship.

To be successful in this role, you will need to be a sophisticated communicator with the ability to influence at all levels, and have an enterprising and strategic approach to income generation.

Your experience could have been gained in a visitor attraction, a museum, gallery or equivalent iconic institution.

Above all your ability to deliver growth will be evidenced in your excellent fundraising track record.

There is flexibility available on hours and days of work and some home working will be considered.
