Head of Exhibitions (Maternity Cover)

Nottingham Contemporary, one of the UK’s leading and largest centres for contemporary art, is seeking a Head of Exhibitions (Maternity Cover) to manage and deliver a dynamic programme of exhibitions – spanning new commissions, solo shows and thematic exhibitions – performances, and related curatorial projects.

As Head of Exhibitions, you will oversee the planning and production of the artistic programme, as well as the development and management of external partnerships and collaborations. You will line-manage an exhibitions team comprising two assistant curators and be an integral member of the senior management team, contributing to cross-departmental strategic work.

With strong self-initiative, your excellent relationship management skills will mean you are a natural collaborator with a flair for written and verbal communication.
