Head of Finance

The Tetley is a visual arts organisation, based in the former Tetley brewery headquarters at the heart of the Leeds South Bank development, one of the largest regeneration areas in Europe. With support from Carlsberg UK, Leeds City Council and Arts Council England the building has been adapted to house gallery spaces, offices for creative businesses, a busy Bar & Kitchen, as well as spaces for meetings and events, from symposiums to weddings.

The Tetley opened in 2013 and now welcomes over 120,000 visitors every year and is already establishing itself as a major player in the visual arts nationally and internationally. Our strategies for artistic engagement and participation have paid dividends in raising our reputation, our profile and our connection with artists and audiences.

We are looking for an experienced Head of Finance to be the financial controller of the charity and its trading subsidiary.

The post holder will join The Tetley at an exciting time as we build on the successes of our first five years, including joining Arts Council England’s National Portfolio and securing funding from Leeds City Council, and look to develop the organisation further through possible infrastructure expansion and further development of our commercial operations.
