Head of Learning

This is an exciting opportunity to head up the Learning Team at Yorkshire Sculpture Park.  Named Museum of the Year 2014, YSP is an extraordinary place that sets out to challenge, inspire, inform and delight. As one of Britain’s leading contemporary art organisations it has an internationally renowned exhibition and engagement programme. The multi award winning Learning Programme underpins all YSP activity, aiming to make art, landscape and heritage accessible to the whole community, and to offer opportunities for people to engage with the arts in a creative and meaningful way.

The Head of Learning will be responsible for the strategic vision and development of YSP as an integrated world-class hub for learning.  You will lead on developing ambitious learning programmes to meet the demands of YSP, drawing on its unique heritage, context and projects.

We are looking for someone who is innovative, creative and energetic.  You will have strong management skills and significant experience of leading on a wide range of learning and engagement research and activity for diverse and broad audiences.

Degree educated or equivalent experience, this is a varied and challenging role providing an opportunity to join a unique and inspirational organisation.
