Inclusion Producer

This role will be working within the Bristol + Bath Creative R+D project and sits alongside a programme of inclusion training and development at Watershed.

The Inclusion Producer will lead on developing inclusion methodologies, partnerships and a network of practitioners towards a step change in how research and development (R&D) programmes are delivered in Bristol and Bath. They will test and refine approaches within the Bristol + Bath Creative R + D project and will codify, consult and share models/learning for Watershed and partners in the wider region.

We have been supporting talent development and R&D through the Pervasive Media Studio for over ten years. Watershed now has a leading role in a number of large partnership projects that aim to drive inclusive innovation across our region. These projects are built on the premise that time, space and connections – across small business and large industry, across companies and academia, and across different types of creative business, across our two very different cities – will supercharge imagination, products and routes to market. We aim to work with the creative sector in our region to become more resilient, sustainable and ambitious.

To achieve this we must identify and nurture the makers and thought leaders of tomorrow by putting inclusion at the heart of our programmes. We will strive to support individuals on their professional development journey with careful, responsive support. We will work with others to co-produce skills workshops for the next generation. To lead the way our partners, processes and structures must themselves be as inclusive as possible, an aim that will require research, honesty and change from those involved.
