Marketing and Communications Manager – Maternity Cover, Lakeside Arts, University of Nottingham

Salary: £23,754 to £28,331 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

This is a fixed-term post for a period of 6 months. Hours of work are full-time (36.25 hours per week), however job share arrangements may be considered. A combination of home and office working should be expected.

Lakeside Arts is looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager to join its busy marketing team on a Maternity Cover basis.

The successful applicant will have considerable experience in marketing, with up-to-date knowledge of best-practice; a passion for the arts and cultural sector; be able to plan, implement and evaluate marketing and communications campaigns, have experience of using CRM tools; and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to line manage a small team. Skills essential for the role include the ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team; a dynamic and proactive approach; and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Lakeside’s buildings are currently closed to the public due to the Covid-19 pandemic, however its creative and dedicated team have adapted to delivering online projects and events. It is hoped that it will be possible for Lakeside to present a series of outdoor and socially distanced events through the summer months, with a return to more normal operations come the autumn. It is expected that the role-holder will play an essential role in delivering campaigns that help maintain audience relations and drive sales through this period.
