Marketing Assistant

Compton Verney Art Gallery and Park is looking for a new, junior addition to support the Marketing team. The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, a curious mind, and good problem-solving instincts. They will ideally have some customer service experience and should be able to demonstrate exemplary customer care, and may also have some previous marketing experience. They will be enthusiastic about the industry and seeking a career in arts marketing.

The Marketing Assistant will work alongside colleagues in the department to support marketing campaigns across the programme. This will include the art exhibitions, events, schools and learning, and retail and commercial opportunities. This is a broad scope and will provide an ambitious individual with challenges and opportunities to learn and grow, with the support of the team. Tasks are likely to include, but are not limited to collating information for print and digital channels, preparing communications to customers and members, management of social media accounts and the website, booking of advertising, commissioning of artwork, answering customer enquiries, and distribution of print and other marketing materials.
