We are looking for a dynamic and entrepreneurial Marketing Officer to join our small marketing team, which consists of a part time Audience Development Officer and Marketing Assistant. You will lead on the promotion of our paid events, supervise our print and press campaigns and build up our relationships with local and national media.
We are at an exciting time in our development, with a new gallery of contemporary art opened in 2015 that complements our year-round programme of performances, courses and community activities. We now welcome 100,000 visitors each year and are growing fast.
The Attenborough Arts Centre opened in 1997 and has grown year on year in reputation and visitor numbers. With over 100,000 visitors each year, the centre is a lively and bustling space with a dynamic programme to match. Located on the edge of the University main campus the centre serves a wide audience, from local communities to students and staff, producing theatre, dance, children’s theatre, events (such as our popular annual craft market) and exhibitions. The centre is nationally known as a leader in making the arts inclusive and accessible.
You will be a confident and skilled copy writer with excellent proof reading and a flair for communication. Passionate about the arts, you will be able to demonstrate a track record in working effectively with the media. You will deliver your work to tight deadlines and budgets, reach new audiences and build loyal customers, and use robust data capture methods to demonstrate your successes.
