Network Manager

Visual Arts South West (VASW) is seeking a new Network Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to advocate for the visual arts in the South West of England, supporting the development of the sector through connectivity, knowledge sharing and strategic intervention within the region and nationally.

Since its inception in 2010, VASW has supported the needs of artists, professionals and organisations in the South West and advocated for the regional visual arts community within the wider arts sector as part of Contemporary Visual Arts Network (CVAN). The Network Manager is the primary role in VASW, developing stakeholder relationships, undertaking fundraising to further VASW’s impact, and leading activities to deliver network objectives within the region and nationally. The post also plays an active role in CVAN to ensure a South West voice is part of the national agenda.

We are seeking candidates with experience of strategy and business planning, project management and delivery, stakeholder engagement and fundraising in order to refresh, represent and realise a vision of VASW. The successful candidate will be an experienced professional with perspective of visual arts across the South West region, confident communicator with strong negotiation skills and experienced at developing and managing relationships at all levels.
