People & Organisational Design Manager

Nottingham Castle Trust is seeking an experienced People and OD Manager to lead the development and implementation of effective people and organisational design and development strategies, policies and processes for Nottingham Castle when it re-opens following a £30,000,000 transformational redevelopment project.

The main purpose of this role is to be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the HR function, including: managing recruitment, selection and onboarding; terms and conditions of employment; employee relations; pay, reward and benefits; performance management; training and development; health and safety; employment law and any other related employee issues.   Working as part of the Leadership team to ensure the HR strategy is in line with the Trust’s strategy and long-term objectives, this role will be the principle advisor on Human Resources within the organisation and will be expected to interact with external groups, staff, volunteers, students and occasionally the public.
