Made In Corby is the Creative People & Places (CPP) programme for the borough of Corby, Northamptonshire. CPP is about more people taking the lead in choosing, creating and taking part in art experiences in the places where they live. There are 21 independent projects, each located in an area where people have traditionally had fewer opportunities to get involved with the arts. See www.creativepeopleplaces.org.uk for further details.
After successfully gaining investment of around £885,000 from Arts Council England to continue the Made In Corby programme until 2020, we are now looking to enhance our small, but dedicated staff team.
We’ve got lots of exciting plans to create inspiring arts experiences with and for the people of Corby, including three major outdoor arts festivals, a programme of community-led commissioning, support for local arts projects and in-depth audience development initiatives with early years, older people and hard-to-reach young people.
The Producer will manage the Made In Corby programme, which includes a range of activities, events, performances, exhibitions, artist residencies and festivals, through a model of community-led commissioning and programming. You’ll have experience of producing arts projects, be confident in working with the community and passionate about engaging new audiences.
