GRAIN Projects is looking for a freelance and highly organised emerging producer/coordinator with an interest in contemporary photography, the visual arts, projects and events and participatory opportunities, linked to audience development and community engagement. This is a unique opportunity to work with this new organisation and comes at an exciting time.
The successful candidate must be able to multitask and coordinate and manage a variety of projects throughout the programme. They should have strong knowledge and experience of administrative systems, programming experience and ideas and a knowledge of online marketing tools and digital media in order to cover the breadth of activity which ranges from networking events for photographers to international commissions delivered with major institutions.
Background and context
GRAIN Projects is a new arts organisation established to benefit the photography community and to reach and engage with new audiences and participants. GRAIN works with national and international partners. We research, develop and deliver new, ambitious high quality opportunities to strengthen photography in the region, provide sustainability and promote the sector nationally and internationally.
Contract and Fee
You will be required to enter into a freelance contract with GRAIN Projects for this P/T post.
You will be paid on a freelance basis on receipt of invoices.
You will be required to work from a home office as well as from ‘meeting spaces’ in partner venues and community spaces.
