Museums Sheffield is the charitable trust responsible for the Millennium Gallery, Graves Gallery and Weston Park Museum. We showcase the best in art, craft and design, celebrate Sheffield’s rich heritage and care for the city’s diverse collections of art, human history and natural science.
The Public Programme Co-ordinator will create, co-ordinate and deliver a public engagement programme that complements Museums Sheffield’s collections and exhibitions, develops new and existing audiences, generates income and strengthens our profile in the City.
We are looking for someone who is committed to inspiring participation, making connections, brokering relationships and working with a wide range of partners and the public regularly. The post holder will plan and deliver events and activity across all three of our sites.
The ideal candidate will be creative, have a people focussed approach, work well within a busy team and have excellent administrative and interpersonal skills. Museums Sheffield welcomes applications from people from all walks of life.
