To promote and raise awareness about The Lightbox through overseeing the delivery of the Marketing and PR strategies and campaigns. This role is responsible for ensuring the day-to-day smooth running of the Marketing department under the guidance of the Operations Director.
The role is responsible for all Main Gallery and major PR activities including the development of key local and national press contacts. The role oversees the creation, production and delivery of the What’s On programme and all marketing literature. The role oversees the running of Lightbox campaigns, working with and delegating to the Marketing and Communications Officer and Marketing Assistant as appropriate. The role will require occasional deputising for the Operations Director in a marketing capacity.
The Senior Officer is required to ensure that all external comms are to excellent standard and embody The Lightbox Brand Guidelines. The role requires personally producing campaign reports ensuring that the monthly department reports are delivered by the Officer and Assistant on time and that strategies are developed from the insights of these reports.
The role will also involve working with the Operations Director on Audience Development strategies that will help grow and retain the audience base of the organisation. Tools to facilitate this include the CRM Raiser’s Edge NXT, Culture Segments demographic profiling tool and digital analytics.
