SENsory Atelier Programme Manager (Fixed Term)

Managing the SEN School project SENsory Atelier at Attenborough Arts Centre you will have the opportunity to project manage all aspects including partnership development, commissioning artists and companies, curating exhibitions and events, and co-producing work with whole school communities.

The SENsory Atelier Programme Manager will manage a Joint Practice Development and Continuing Professional Development programme for Teachers and Classroom Assistants along with being a lead on local, national and international partnership development, with a strong advocacy role, sharing programme outcomes.

SENsory Atelier is a dynamic 4 year cultural education programme for all SEN schools in Leicester. With the focus on personal, social, communication and physical development SENsory Atelier uses art as a tool for children with SEND, to learn.

About you

Being qualified to a degree standard, you will have also gained experience of working with children and young people, particularly those with Special Education Needs and Disabilities.

You should have a strong record of Arts Project Management, as part of which you will have gained experience of managing budgets and actioning research and evaluation reporting.

Being able to show a strong track record of analysing evidence based practice and writing reports is an essential skill for the successful candidate.

You will have a person-centred approach and be able to interact with a wide range of people with sensitivity and empathy.
