Clay College’s mission is to develop highly-skilled, self-sufficient and diverse makers by teaching practical studio pottery techniques. By doing so, we endeavour to maintain and grow the status of British studio ceramics.
The College, now in its third year, offers a 2-year, full-time Diploma course for 14 students; evening and weekend courses, and Masterclasses delivered by highly experienced and internationally renowned potters. In addition, the College runs a Gallery showcasing the work of leading studio potters and the work of current students.
We wish to appoint a part-time Technical Tutor, working 20 hours over 5 days per week.
Reporting to the College Manager, you will provide effective technical support that assists in the smooth delivery of all courses at Clay College.
You will need to have experience of creating and monitoring a clean and safe teaching environment; of managing resources, and when necessary, to assist with teaching under the direction of the Tutor.
The Salary offered is £11,514 (£20,200 FTE)
