The Annex Collection Acquisition Award

The Annex Collection U.K. is an independant arts organisation with triannual competitions to support artists in the continuation of their practice. 

The Collection asks that the artist who is granted the Acquisition Award, exchange their selected work for inclusion in our collection.

The Award is open to submissions from artists working across all mediums. As well as painting, printmaking, sculpture & traditional visual arts, we welcome submissions from artists whose work presents a challenge in regards to monetisation. It is the aim of the collection to support the breadth of contemporary art practices & we are aware this often goes beyond the canvas. Submissions in the form of moving image & video, performative works & documentation of participatory happenings will all be considered.
