UCAN UK Projects Coordinator (Fixed Term)

University Centres for the Arts Network of United Kingdom (UCAN UK) is looking to recruit a fixed-term, part-time Projects Coordinator to oversee the formalisation of this new and important network of arts venues based in United Kingdom.  Comprised of university arts venues united in sharing knowledge and deepening understanding across the Higher Education and Arts sectors, the network seeks to support best practice, enhance resilience, meaningfully engage with students and explore opportunities to further develop artists and audiences.

The role of UCAN UK Projects Coordinator will be appointed to deliver projects addressing the key next-steps for the network that will ensure UCAN UK takes a more meaningful role in the wider UK cultural ecology.  Employed by University of Lincoln on behalf of the network, the Coordinator will be based in the university’s Centre for Culture and Creativity on the Brayford Pool Campus.  Working an average of 15 hours per week for up to 30 weeks a year. The Projects Coordinator will be expected to work flexibly, under the direction of the network Steering Group.  This is an ideal position for a candidate with solid arts and or higher education experience, interested in shaping the development of a network, devising and delivering administrative processes and building connections with future stakeholders.

This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Tier 2.
