Visual Artist

Aspirations of a Generation is a project that aims to bring together children and young people from across Edgbaston’s diverse ward to take part in contemporary arts workshops. Each set of workshops will take place during the school day within a school in Edgbaston over 10 hours beginning after February half term. The 4 schools involved will then take part in a sharing where all classes and their friends and family will come together for a sharing and celebration of the project.

Applications are sought from those with:

  • Experience and or a relevant degree or training.
  • 2 Years or more experience of working with Young People including primary age students.
  • A good manner and a passion for their art form.
  • A desire to work with Young People from a variety of different backgrounds and life experiences.
  • An ability to ensure the process is just as important as the final outcome.
  • An up to date DBS/CRB check.
